Dejehan “Luckystickz” Hamilton - Executive Director/CEO
Luckystickz, an accomplished singer-songwriter, recording artist, and one of the most distinguished steelpan and percussion artists in Canada, is the visionary founder and executive director of the Tune In Foundation. He has graced stages internationally and is recognized as the first and only Canadian steel pannist to attend and graduate from the prestigious Berklee College of Music on scholarship.
Although his artistic career has been marked by remarkable achievements, Lucky's true passion lies in making a meaningful impact on humanity. Driven by this desire, he founded the Tune In Foundation, an organization that emphasizes the power of music and creativity to foster change. Lucky has transformed into a highly sought-after and internationally recognized motivational speaker, specializing in youth engagement and mentorship.
Now, Lucky devotes his efforts to expanding the Tune In Foundation's impact both locally and globally. He firmly holds the belief that we are not merely products of our environments; instead, our mindset largely shapes who we become. This belief forms the cornerstone of his commitment to nurturing growth and resilience in the next generation of creatives.
Jasmine Francis - Program Assistant - Blueprint/Future Kings Summit
Jasmine is a distinguished academic professional and entrepreneur, boasting dual degrees from prestigious institutions, York University and Brock University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, complemented by a minor in Honours Business Administration, and a Bachelors of Education in Adult Education.
Presently, Jasmine plays a critical role at McMaster University as a Graduate Administrator and Placement Coordinator in the School of Nursing. In this capacity, she employs her robust educational background to ensure the seamless integration of students into their healthcare placements, contributing to the university's renowned reputation in the field of Nursing education.
Beyond her higher education commitments, Jasmine is an entrepreneurial force, co-owning and operating Luxe Simplicity, a bespoke business specializing in personalized decor, apparel, and signage. This venture attests to her creative flair and business acumen, further showcasing her multifaceted professional expertise.
A proud Hamiltonian with Grenadian and Dominican ancestry, Jasmine firmly believes in giving back to her community. In line with this belief, she serves as the Vice-President of the African Caribbean Cultural Potpourri Inc., a position that enables her to champion the celebration of cultural diversity.
In addition, Jasmine has recently joined the Tune In Foundation as a Program Assistant, where she brings her wealth of knowledge and passion for community service to facilitate impactful programs. Her role with the foundation reinforces her commitment to leveraging her skills and experiences for the betterment of her community.
Throughout her career, Jasmine has proven herself to be a dynamic and dedicated professional, and she looks forward to continuing her impact in both the academic and entrepreneurial arenas.
Romée Gayle - Program Assistant - The Plug/ Blueprint/ Future Kings Summit
Romée Gayle is the Program Assistant for The Plug, Tune In Foundation’s signature youth mentorship and creative empowerment program. With a passion for community engagement and youth development, Romée plays a key role in supporting the coordination and delivery of programming that connects racialized youth to opportunities in the arts.
Her work includes organizing workshops, communicating with students and school partners, managing program logistics, and ensuring each participant feels seen, supported, and inspired. Known for her warm personality and attention to detail, Romée helps create welcoming spaces where creativity and confidence can thrive.
Driven by a deep belief in representation and equity, she is proud to contribute to Tune In’s mission of igniting purpose in every creative and building pathways for the next generation of leaders.

Michael Abraham- Board Chair
Michael Abraham is a Graduation Coach and youth advocate who brings a strong background in social work and student support to the Tune In Foundation. Known for creating “come as you are” spaces that help young people feel seen, grounded, and motivated, Michael’s approach is rooted in relationship-building, wraparound care, and high standards for youth programming. He also has a lifelong connection to the arts through DJ culture and dance, which aligns naturally with Tune In’s creative empowerment model.
As Board Chair, Michael helps strengthen governance and decision-making while keeping Tune In’s work youth-centered, practical, and outcomes-driven. He supports the Foundation by helping refine program quality, ensuring strong working-board rhythms, and leveraging school-community insight to expand access and impact.
Frances Baptiste- Treasurer
Frances Baptiste brings business administration and marketing training, along with corporate experience in logistics and vendor relations in the retail sector. With a strong operational mindset and a background in music, dance, and church leadership, she combines practical systems-thinking with real community heart. Frances is also deeply committed to service and community impact, with a personal connection to Tune In’s founding story and mission.
As Treasurer, Frances supports Tune In’s financial stewardship by helping oversee reporting, approvals, and strong financial practices that match the organization’s growth. She adds value through operational discipline, vendor and partnership insight, and a working-board willingness to step in where needed to help the Foundation sustain and scale.
Sean Gibson- Board Secretary
Sean Gibson is a community leader and entrepreneur who is passionate about youth development and strengthening community-based initiatives. With prior board experience, Sean understands what it takes to help a working board stay organized, accountable, and effective, especially in a growing organization where governance and hands-on support must work together.
As Secretary, Sean supports Tune In Foundation by keeping board documentation, minutes, and action items clear and consistent, helping ensure smooth communication and follow-through between meetings. He contributes steady leadership, practical governance experience, and a commitment to reinforcing the strong foundation Tune In is building.
Janet Rogers- Director
Janet Rogers (also known as “January”) is a writer, educator, and radio professional with deep experience in poetry, performance, and community storytelling. She is Mohawk Tuscarora from Six Nations and has extensive volunteer leadership through community radio governance, along with advocacy work connected to cross-border Indigenous rights and community organizing.
Janet supports Tune In Foundation by strengthening communications, narrative development, and cultural integrity across programs. Her experience in public engagement, Indigenous community networks, and creative expression helps Tune In deepen its storytelling, expand partnerships, and build programming that is both inclusive and rooted in respect.
