TALK TO ME NICE: FUTURE KINGS SUMMIT

The Future Kings Summit is a transformative leadership experience designed for high school and university-aged young men from racialized and underserved communities. This annual event brings together inspiring speakers, interactive workshops, and mentorship opportunities to equip the next generation of leaders with the tools they need to thrive — not just academically or professionally, but as confident, community-minded individuals.

Our Vision

To create a world where every young man, regardless of background, is seen, heard, and empowered to lead with purpose, resilience, and integrity.

What to Expect

Held at the iconic Mainstage Rehearsal Studio in Hamilton, the Future Kings Summit is a full-day event packed with purpose-driven programming, including:

  • Leadership Skills Training

From initiative to influence, participants learn what it means to lead by example — in school, at home, and in the world.

  • Personal Development Sessions

Focused on emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and self-worth, these sessions support participants in becoming whole, grounded individuals.

  • Mentorship Connections

Every Future King is paired with a mentor who will provide monthly follow-up support for 6 months following the event, offering consistent encouragement and guidance.

  • Brotherhood & Community Building

Through shared stories, team-building activities, and vulnerable conversations, participants gain a strong sense of belonging, accountability, and pride.

Why It Matters

Too often, young racialized men are met with stereotypes instead of opportunities. The Future Kings Summit exists to shift that narrative — to affirm their brilliance, nurture their potential, and remind them that they are not alone on their journey.

This is more than a conference.

It’s a catalyst for change.

It’s where kings are crowned — not by title, but by purpose.
